CabWriter 6 continues our tradition of offering enterprise level capabilities at entry level prices while adding powerful new features to make you even more efficient and help you wow your customers.

The most exciting is CabWriter Closet; a powerful new add on to CabWriter that provides a flexible set of tools to help you draw closets quickly and efficiently. CabWriter Closet is affordable and works with both CabWriter Pro and Home allowing you to draw both traditional CabWriter cabinets and closet parts in the same model; switching seamlessly between both. A new tool introduced with CabWriter Closet allows you to quickly add or delete any number of holes to any part in a closet, but can also be used on regular CabWriter cabinet parts giving you added flexibility to put holes exactly where you need them even when CabWriter can’t draw them automatically.

On the cabinet side, we’ve added a new style of cabinet called a Stacked Upper which you can use with any of the standard upper cabinet types, except the Divided Upper. A Stacked Upper is simply a two level upper cabinet with one or two doors on each level, as shown at right. Another new addition to your upper cabinet arsenal is a Bi-Fold Upper, which is essentially the same construction as a lazy susan lower cabinet. These new cabinets mean you now have the tools to quickly and easily draw nearly any design your customers desire.

Other changes include support for horizontal hinge plate hole drilling when in CNC mode, improvements to label printing including separating it from the Production Documentation dialog box making it easier and quicker to print labels as well as the introduction of two new label sizes (1/2″ x 1 3/4″ and 5/8″ x 3″), and the ability to automatically hatch selected scenes in LayOut.

With improvements to sheet good optimization, additional inset back construction methods, changes to the story stick and wall tools to improve drawing efficiency, CabWriter remains your go-to tool for custom cabinet design….
