I have a question or two regarding the closet module. First question is after purchasing Cabwriter Closet 8 do I have to also purchase a yearly support membership for the Closet after the first year? As I do with CabWriter Pro. That being asked my second question is will Closet require it’s own updates as CabWriter Gets updated? My Current Serivce expires in March of 2025 will purchasing Closet interfer with that as it comes with 1 year of support?

Hi Jack,

The Closet support rolls under your CabWriter Pro subscription and when we come out with new major versions of CabWriter, it includes all of the modules such as closet, so as long as you keep your Pro subscription up to date, you’ll get all the Closet updates as well, so you should be good to go. When you renew your Pro subscription, it’ll come with Closet support.

Thank you for the response. I had to uninstall Sketchup Pro 2024 and I am working with Sketchup support to fix a wierd bug in Sketchup Pro 2024 *TOC files. I will be reinstalling Sketchup Pro and Cabwriter 8 as soon as Sketchup Support works out what is causing the issue. Then I will be adding Closet module soon thereafter.
