SpectatorHey,
I have used the 30 day trial, and figured out how to draw my cabinets in the face frame mode, for my drawings i am presenting to clients. But whenever i try to draw in frameless, which is what i actually build with, i am completely lost on how to edit which parameters in the cab writer settings. I have been drawing in faceframe and selecting all cabinets then changing the fronts, but then it skews my measurements, and throws things off when i bring it to layout. Is there a video on showing how to use the story stick to draw in the frameless setting? Or a list of parameters i can enter to fix this issue.
Thanks!

SpectatorHi there,
Thanks for giving us a try. We have a number of videos that might help. If you haven’t watched this quick start video, it would be a quick way to get familiar with the concept of changing parameters and loading up frameless parameters.
We also offer a very in depth video training series that goes through all the ins and outs of CabWriter that you can access here:
It’s based on version 3, but the general concepts still apply. Other than that, we have a whole bunch of short videos about various functions on this page.
Some are on older versions, but again, the general concepts still apply.
Let me know if this helps…
Thanks,

SpectatorHi,
If you watched CabWriter Comprehensive 3, the entire video series was about modeling a frameless hybrid cabinet; cabinets that are mostly frameless but have connecting stiles. Also, there is a defaults folder that comes with CabWriter called Frameless that you can start with and then might only need to change a few parameters instead of starting with a Face Frame set of parameters. You can access it using the Open and Load CabWriter Defaults icon.
