What is the procedure to copy a part and reuse somewhere else in a cabinet….

We have tried using move/copy cabinet to a copy a part of a cabinet and reuse on another part of the cabinet, for example duplicate a side wall and use it on the opposite side. When we try to export to DXF, the part that we duplicated does not appear on the dxf output…..

Hi,

Are you trying to copy a part to use in the same cabinet or in a different cabinet? If it is the same cabinet you can copy and move it with native SketchUp tools. If you want to use it in a different cabinet you can use the native SketchUp tool, but then you have to rename the part and give it the same cabinet number as the new cabinet. we are trying to copy the part with both control-c from sketchup and also with move/copy from cabwriter but we get an error message
We have tried copying the part to the same cabinet and also to there cabinets…
Please se error messages
Also it keeps changing the units from mm to inches, we change them back but keeps happening…
