    Greetings all,

This may be a dumb question, but do I have to reinstall Cabwriter after an update with SketchUp For Pro 2021 to Pro 2022? I was on the trial version while using SketchUp Pro 2021 and I Purchased the CabWriter 5 Pro non CNC March 24, 2022. SketchUp prompted and update so I updated SketchUp, from Pro 2021 to Pro 2022, but I no longer see Cabwriter. Nor am I being promted to enter the license for the expired CabWriter Trial . Thanks for the time helping me figure out my issue after updating.

    Hi Jack,

Unfortunately yes. SketchUp does not provide the option to transfer the contents of a previous Plugins folder to the next (new) version. However, what I do is simply copy the contents of the SketchUp 2021 Plugins folder and paste it in the SketchUp 2022 Plugins folder. If you don’t know the location of your Plugins folder you can find it by typing the following line into the input field of the Ruby Console and press Enter on the keyboard.

    Sketchup.find_support_file(“Plugins/”)

You can open the Ruby Console with the menu Extensions > Developer > Ruby Console. Let me know if you have further questions.

    Joe….
