IS there a video that you use to create your own textures, i would like to have one that basically is black and white and the black would just be a wood grain so i could still add color overtop of that. is that even possible ? i can get a picture of some other software programs that does this

    Hi Jeremy,

CabWriter permits the user to add their own textures to a model simply by creating a .bmp file of the texture. You can either create your own texture .bmp file or search the internet for one. Read Chapter 6 in the User’s Guide for instruction on how to load the .bmp file. Let me know if you have specific questions on how to load the files. I can’t help you much on creating a texture .bmp file; that is a whole different set of tools, primarily tools like Adobe Photoshop, Snagit, etc.

    Joe,
Thanks for the reply, i will look into chapter 6, i guess my biggest question would be is there a size ratio that works best for this ?

I would use the same size as the other texture files in Plugins\cabwriter\texture files.
