SpectatorI understand what the top clearance setting (3/32″) is doing to the door panel. But this is the look I am trying to achieve – I did it by setting the bottom clearance to 1 1/8″. If I want a 38″ cabinet it looks like the only way is to set the cabinet height to 39 1/8″ and make the bottom clearance 1 1/8″.

SpectatorWhat I mean is when I have the upper to 38″ I would like the cabinet box to be 38″, not 36 7/8″ as shown in this screen grab. I understand the Top Clearance setting. Basically the cabinets and doors and end panels to be the same height.

Spectatoryes thanks, I’ve been reviewing Joe’s tutorials. I’ve gone through most of the Sketchup basics as well. The one thing I couldn’t get to work was trying to punch out a door space from the CabWriter wall. I can’t seem to make the push pull work. I can do a cut out using push-pulls with the Sketchup rectangles if I use that to draw walls but haven’t been successful to make the void if I use the wall tool. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong, I would appreciate it.

Spectatorthanks Greg, I am going through the training models and am sure I’ll get there. I am pretty proficient with other CAD programs such as Vectorworks and AutoCAD but am looking forward to getting proficient with your software.
