Greg, this is great information, Thanks! The videos are extremely helpful, would you have more of them? Also, what are the screws you are using to attach the cabinet backs?

Yes, I am a beta tester. I had installed the 12/8 version on Monday, but could not get it to create cabinets. I eventually uninstalled and went back to my previous version so I could continue working.For file drawers, i have been using a standard cabinet with doors and shelves set at “0”. then I add the drawers manually. This way I do not need to modify cab writer settings for mid rails. I would think you would need to modify the drawer fronts manually to get the solution you are requiring.

Here is the file. The problems see to be the upper wall cabinets. i end up with openings on each that are a 1/2″ different in size.

We don’t actually notch the rails or stiles. We mill a separate piece of stock 1/4 x 3/4 with the bead on one end then glue and pin nail to the inside perimeter of the frame openings. The extra material isn’t so much of an issue as the door and drawer fronts and boxes change size due to the openings losing the 1/2″ in width and height.
