I cannot get it to create a drawer bank without errors. I have gotten it to create the carcass if I use 1 drawer and a cabinet, but it fails to insert the drawer, cabinet door, or shelf. Hi Willard,

Sorry you’re having issues. Can you first let us know what version of Sketchup and CabWriter you are using. That warning about the SketchUp function being deprecated is a bit odd, so I wonder if it’s an older version of SketchUp?

Also, have you tried reverting to the factory settings for your parameters? File -> CabWriter -> Re-Load Factory Settings, and redrawing your three drawer bank? Doing that will let us know if it’s a parameter issue. If it draws fine, then there’s a parameter not set right. If the error persists, then something else is going on and we can dive a bit deeper into it.

I have SketchUp Pro 2026 and CabWriter Pro 8. I did try reverting to factory settings. Also, under the drawer tab, I tried adding the undermount information to see if that was the issue. I reset and tried to draw again and got the following below. I change to a standard cabinet and it made the carcass but no door or shelf.

Hi Willard,

I loaded your model on my system and found that the bottom table on the Drawers tab was completely blank. See image below. I clicked the RFS tool icon (Re-Load Factory Settings) and ran it again and everything worked for a 3-Drawer Bank. Give that a try and let me know what happens.
