Spectatori ended up doing a slab door and adding lines for the customer to visualize the look, I will turn the panel into pieces inside of cultist
what would the possibility of glass doors ?Jeremy Emerson
SpectatorThat is correct Joe, the software is correct on its part and i managed to figure out how to handle it on my part. Thanks for all the help

Spectatoryes joe the layout is correct in cabwriter but for some reason it doesn’t come out just right in real life, I got it pretty close to force lol

Jeremy Emerson
Spectatori guess that is not working do you have a email for a direct file send

SpectatorGreg here is the model

Spectatoryes both the face frame and box math come out correct but the set backs are not correct when you put the frame on, one side maybe a half inch but the next maybe 3/8 and next box setback be under 1/2 and so on maybe a call would be better

i guess there is no need for the file as all is correct on cabwriter and when i build everything the set of boxes are right and the faceframe is right but when you go to applied the frame to the box thing do not line up with there proper setbacksJeremy Emerson
Spectatorthis is probably not a problem for alot of shops but for my style it is lol this issues and the joining of muiltable cabnets is the only thing that takes time to fix in sketchup, i am not a fan of a bunch of boxes to make up the unit, so i fix them to be a single unit after cab writer did its part.

Currently in cab writer we have one setback or revel some call it of the face frame to the box i have mine set at a 1/2 on most but when joining multiple cab boxes together that reveal can be different, another way i use it is to have my setback to 1/1/4 with a 2 inch wide style and use just one sheet for the finish side of the cabinet and the having styles between the two outers i don’t want my center ones to be as wide, say only 1 3/4 wide and one piece of 3/4 Thick plywood for the divider.
if that makes sense, i don’t have a current model other than a job i am trying to work thru.Jeremy Emerson

You are correct I will look into the book, I think layout is a little confusing so say the least, I don’t have a large printer just yet so everything has to 8-1/2 x 11 for me
I have some templets I have painfully made but I also like you style.
Thanks for all the help -
