SpectatorHi James,
Good catch. I will look into the problem and get back to you. I will be out most of today, so I suspect I will get back to you tomorrow. Thanks for the help with the whittled down test copy.

SpectatorJeremy,
You need to give me more detail when you post a problem or question. Do you get an error message? What does it say? What version of LayOut are you using? Etc.I am guessing you are using a version of LayOut older than 2019. Is that true?

SpectatorHi Jeremy,
I need more detail on what you are not able to do.If you are getting an error similar to the image attached, there is a simple fix. This is a problem that has already been fixed in the Beta 2 release coming out this week. A very quick work around is to create the directory it is looking for and place your template in there. Also place it in the equivalent 2019 directory. That will solve your immediate problem and when you get Beta 2 you will already be set.

SpectatorHi Rick,
Attached is a blank LayOut document with Greg’s template. Just open it up in LayOut and make any desired changes. Then use the File > Save As Template.

SpectatorHi Rick,
Actually, plywood thickness is not the same from batch to batch. It can be 3/4″, it can be 23/32″ or anywhere in between. And you can buy plywood that is 3/4″ at a premium price. But to answer your question, Greg does put a spacer between his sides.

SpectatorHi Gary,
I sent the following message to your email account [email protected] on January 18. My apologies, I should have responded here. Give me a call tomorrow at 413-961-9115.
Hi Gary,
I couldn’t reproduce the problem. It worked fine for me. Is there a time tomorrow when I can set up an on-line Join.me session with you? I am on Eastern Time. Give me your number and I will set it up.

SpectatorHi Thomas,
It’s possible that there is another extension that is conflicting with CabWriter. Copy or ZIP your entire Plugins folder and move to another temporary folder. Then, one at a time, remove other extensions besides CabWriter from your Plugins folder, close and reopen SketchUp and see if it helped. Doing it one at a time will uncover the conflicting extension, if there is one. If this doesn’t help give me a call at 413-961-9115.

SpectatorHi Ron,
Sorry you are having frustrating problems. Rest assured we will get you going. First, could you please send me your .skp file that you are problems with? If it is larger than 10MB you may have to ZIP it. Send it to [email protected]. I will look at it and get back to you with the problem. If necessary I will set up an on-line Join.me session for a tutorial.
Thanks, Joe…..

SpectatorHi Gary,
I’ll fix the Construction Plus Ruby Console problem in the next release. It causes no harm other than it is annoying. Could you please send me your .skp file that you are attempting to construct a refrigerator and fails. If it is larger than 10MB you may have to ZIP it. Send it to [email protected].
Thanks, Joe…..

SpectatorJeremy,
Do you have version 2.0.2? If not, download and install it.
